The Bowery hotel wedding in New York city was one of my first weddings back after the lockdown.
It goes without saying that this was an extremely joyous celebration for all involved! I couldn’t have been happier being back to doing what I love most. Documenting weddings!
I started with them at their suite for the first look. We proceeded with portraits and walked over to the church in the East Village. Capturing lot’s of moments between the two of them. After the ceremony we did even more portraits and walked back to The Bowery Hotel where their reception took place. We arrived to a gorgeous cocktail hour that was indoor/outdoor.
For the reception they sat their guests on four very long tables, which created such an intimate vibe even though they had a guest count of 120. They hired a live band and I might have shed a little tear after hearing live music for the first time in over a year. The Band Method created amazing energy and the everyone was dancing the rest of the night. Their bowery hotel wedding was the perfect one to usher in the new normal!
