The River Cafe | Brooklyn Wedding in Dumbo

This couple had their wedding at the iconic River Cafe in Dumbo, a Brooklyn neighborhood on the East river.

I started with them at their hotel in downtown Manhattan. The Oculus was right across the street and the location for their first look. We took a couple photos in the area and jumped into a cab. Then we drove over the Brooklyn Bridge to get to their venue in Dumbo. We continued with more photos there before making our way to the restaurant to get ready for their ceremony.

The ceremony took place in the private outside garden of The River cafe. The fall weather was perfect and gifted us with great light and comfortable temperatures. From the ceremony guests walked straight into the restaurant and out onto the balcony area. There the guest took in amazing skyline views of Manhattan while enjoying cocktail food and drinks.

After cocktails the sit down dinner took place in the private event space of the River Cafe. The stunning skyline views now lit up across the river during the evening hours. Speeches, dancing eating and all the fun ensued over the evening. The wedding celebration ended with a sparkler exit of the couple. What a great wedding to document!
