Iron Gate Restaurant Wedding
Deb and Emily got married at a historic restaurant, the iron gate restaurant in Washington DC. I met them for their first look right out front of the restaurant. Afterwards we did a couple portraits around the area and then focused in on the family photos.
The ceremony was in the courtyard naturally covered with vines and decorated with flowers by the florists. During cocktail hour their ceremony space transformed into the reception space. Once all the food was consumed and speeches had been had it once again transformed. This time into the dance area. So you can see, the restaurant space is super versatile and ready to fit any celebration.
Words from the bride:
“We cannot say enough good things about Konrad and his incredible work on both our engagement shoot and our wedding day! From the very first consultation, it was clear that he was not only professional but also genuinely passionate about his craft. He took the time to understand our vision for photography and delivered beyond our expectations—without breaking the bank! After our engagement shoot, he surprised us with a behind-the-scenes video of our day and we were sold on adding the video option to our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, he was calm, organized, and made us feel so comfortable. His attention to detail was amazing, capturing all of the candid moments, the beautiful portraits, and even the small, intimate touches we didn’t notice ourselves. He managed to blend seamlessly into the background while still getting the most stunning shots.”
Would love to hear what you have planned for your celebration.
