The Wedding Reception is where everyone really lets loose.

It’s the main reason I think a couple spends months if not years planing their wedding. You’re in a room with all your family and friends; all of the people you love and hold dear in one place laughing, crying, dancing and enjoying each others company. It might be the only day all these people are in room together. How special is that right?! I think it’s amazing and the photos always show the real emotions.

It’s the easiest to photograph for me because everyone has gotten their guard down by the time we get to the wedding reception. At that point I really just blend in and I’m able to get natural photos of people interacting.

These are my favorite moments I got to capture at the reception over my 10+ years I have been photographing weddings.
